Treflip I don't know how to scoop/My Board doesn't flip even if I scoop

Posture and Body Axis Angle

Mechanism / Why It Happens

To efficiently transfer force to the back foot, the condition of the spine—located opposite the legs—is crucial.

The force used to push your feet downward is generated by extending your body. When your spine is straight, the force from extending your legs pushes upward through the spine, lifting your body. From a physics perspective, pushing something means being pushed back in the opposite direction. As a reaction to pushing the spine upward, the feet are effectively pushed downward. On the other hand, if your spine is bent, it is like trying to bend an already bent spring further. This reduces the force that stretches your body vertically, making it harder for the board to flip properly.
