You can't lift your feet because doing so goes against human instinct.

You try to lift your feet, but they just won't come up. One major reason is that when your center of gravity drops and the ground gets closer, your body naturally tries to extend both feet toward the ground. Holding onto something slows the descent of your center of gravity and helps suppress the urge to extend your legs, allowing you to recreate the motion needed to get the board off the ground.

What to Do

Practicing while holding onto something can also cause the board to rotate.

When you hold onto something, some of your weight inevitably shifts toward your toes, causing your b
