My board won't roll straight
Mechanism / Why It Happens
It is very common for a skateboard to turn to one side when you roll it by itself.
You try rolling your brand-new skateboard, and it turns to one side. When you look closely at the trucks, they are resting tilted to one side and do not return to a neutral position. This is actually very common, and it is not because you bought a beginner complete setup. A skateboard is originally designed with the assumption that when your center of gravity is placed directly above it, force is applied to the kingpin and pivot cup, allowing the trucks to become level. When no one is standing on the board, it is completely normal for it to roll to one side because of the hardness and shape of the bushings, no matter how expensive the deck or trucks are.
Analyze
Check whether your center of gravity is actually over the board
When people feel fear, they tend to stick their hips back, drop their chest, and lean forward. In many cases, this is why the board will not roll straight. Check whether your head is positioned directly above the board when viewed from the front.
