Mechanism / Why It Happens

Wheels are designed to grip the ground, so it is only natural for them to catch during a revert.

Even while sliding across the ramp, the wheels naturally generate friction against its surface. Normally, this friction is entirely beneficial, but when you intentionally want the wheels to slide, as in a revert, the key is finding a way to minimize that friction.
