It is important to choose an edge that matches your wheel size.
Normally, you can use the force generated when the front wheels hit the edge to lift the board into the air. However, if the edge is too low, the board may not get enough upward force. In general, the edge often needs to be at least about 1 cm high for the board to rise. At around 2–3 cm, the board can bounce higher, but depending on the size of your wheels, they may catch on the edge, so be careful.
