Crooked Stall/Grind

A small change in your approach angle and weight distribution is often all it takes.
For a nose stall, you approach the ramp straight on and perpendicular to the coping. For a crooked stall, approach at a slight angle instead. Also, shift more of your weight onto your toes so there is less pressure on the heel side. Together, these adjustments allow the heel-side wheels to clear the coping, putting you into the crooked stall position. If you increase the approach angle and place even more weight on your toes, you can progress into a Crooked Grind.
