Line of Sight
Mechanism / Why It Happens
Lock your eyes on the coping from the approach and keep them there. Move so that your back foot naturally comes into view.
From the approach, look over your back shoulder and direct your eyes toward the coping. Since you are riding fakie, this may feel slightly unnatural. Keep your eyes fixed in place and begin moving the tail onto the coping. The coping and your back foot will then naturally come into view. Once you are locked in, briefly shift your gaze toward the bottom of the ramp and come down safely as you would when dropping in.
