You’re Kicking Your Front Foot Too Hard

If the front foot kicks too hard, the entire leg accelerates downward

If the board doesn’t flip easily, it’s tempting to make your front foot motion bigger. However, doing so causes your knee to start dropping automatically. While some experienced skaters can move their front foot widely while still lifting their body and knee, this is difficult at first.
