Overpopping Prevents the Flip
Mechanism / Why It Happens
If you pop too hard, you won’t be able to flick properly
As explained in the timing section, if the nose pushes back too strongly at the moment of flicking, your front foot will be overpowered and you won’t be able to flip the board effectively. Trying to flick harder will only break your balance, so your front foot motion should remain minimal. In other words, you need to find a way to reduce the pop force so that the nose’s upward force has sufficiently weakened by the time you flick.

What to Do
Adjust board force by changing your stance, not your pop motion
Since popping the tail is a full-body motion, trying to reduce only your back ankle movement is unna
