Why is my board not rising? / How can I pop higher?

Mechanism / Why It Happens

Pop and jump are completely different. Pop is the downward snap of the tail; jump is lifting your body. Both are necessary.

Make sure you are able to squat firmly

Use the Motion Analyzer to track the position of your head. If you are crouching properly to jump high, the path your head traces should form a deep valley shape like in the video. If this trajectory is shallow or the dip is minimal, you may not be crouching enough.
